I am a History/Adolescence Education major at SUNY Plattsburgh. I have just (Fall 2017) completed my final full-time semester as an undergraduate and am beginning my first graduate classes this semester.

I am originally from Chappaqua, New York, where I graduated from Horace Greeley High School in 2014. Throughout my childhood and adolescence, several career choices had availed themselves to me, but the one I kept going back to was teaching. After high school, I was off to SUNY Plattsburgh, to which I was initially drawn because of the five year master's program in education that is offered. Since beginning my education coursework, I have not looked back. I have had the privilege of engaging in several leadership activities at Plattsburgh, including being a teaching assistant, interning for the Center for Diversity, Pluralism and Inclusion, and working as an admissions ambassador and information desk attendant. I am also the president of the History Association and Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, and I was the treasurer of Minor Adjustments, SUNY Plattsburgh's co-ed a cappella group, and the production manager of the College Theatre Association.

When I am not attending to my educational pursuits (i.e., education and history classes), I can often be found in Myers Fine Arts Building rehearsing with Minor Adjustments, the Concert Choir, Champlain Valley Voices, or in one of the theatrical productions offered by the Theatre Department and the CTA. When the time allows, I also like to go hiking and making pale imitations of my Italian grandmother's best recipes.
