My name is Robert Chasse and in my
fifth year of college, my third at SUNY Plattsburgh, and my second year
of graduate work. I'm working on my BA/MST degree with a
concentration in Mathematics.
In my free time I am
an avid movie fan. My movie collection is vast,
but I am always
looking for those hidden gems and cheapest deals. I don't just
collect anything though, mostly horror, independent, comedies, and
dramas of the non-Hollywood sort. I look for story and content
rather than explosions and lack of depth.
While not enjoying my movies I am also an independent musician in that
I write and record
songs on my own rather than with others. I've
been in bands in the past, but since my move to the Plattsburgh area I
have had no luck finding like minded musicians.
Ever since I took and became a teacher's assistant for INT 303 with Dr.
Wiley, Deborah Light, and Kevin Pearson, I have been a huge supporter
for social justice. This is one of my hot topics in that this
course helped look at the bigger picture and help challenge my peers
with their language and their outlook on things. I am ever
indebted to this staff for changing my life.
