"Although it is generally known, I think it's about time to announce that I was born at a very early age."

Hello! My name is Natalie Burke. I've lived in New York's Capital District my whole life. I have a twin brother who I love to spend time with. My passion for mythology, fairy tales, fables and folklore spared my interest in an English degree. I originally went to college for TV production and broadcasting, but I found myself valuing literature more than teleprompters. I try to interpret a literary analysis in everything I do. I'd like to extend my knowledge about teaching and learn more about ESL/ELL learners, as well as special education.
My hobbies include analysing films, reading, and playing video games. I enjoy stand-up comedy and intellectual humor. Outside of school I'm usually working part time or full time. I've held up to three different jobs at a time to help fund myself through college. I've been working since I was 16 in retail and food service. My goal is to earn more experience working towards a potential career in education. I already have some experience working as a teacher/tutor, from elementary students to college-level peers. You'll find more information on my Resume page.
