I am currently a senior at SUNY Plattsburgh, double majoring in TV-Video Production and Broadcast Journalism. I was originally majoring in Newspaper Journalism; that dying, respectable trade. But after being introduced to the studios and audio and video equipment, I found that there was a more exciting world that I really couldn't resist looking more into.

And I'm glad I did. I have dabbled in almost every facet of communications that SUNY Plattsburgh has to offer, genuinely grateful that I've had the opportunity to be a member of a couple radio stations, a newspaper, a magazine and a television station.

Growing up in a small town in upstate New York, where there were five churches, a K-12 school and a few other essential businesses, there wasn't a lot of diversity. However the quality of character of those living there has often proven unparallel. So as far as the future goes, I really want to live in a differet atmosphere, maybe in a big city or even just a more populated countryside. As far as my career goes, there are too many things that interest me; if I am able to create something, then I think that would make me happy enough. But if it was an ideal scenario, I would be either animating for Disney, or writing for a director/s I aspire to, like Wes Anderson.

My interests include spending time with my family and friends (I'm convinced of a higher being or power existing just for the fact that I am a member of that family,) and dabbling in some aspect of the arts. I really like painting and find it inherently therapeutic, also using charcoals and other mediums. After taking production classes, I have also become interested in digital arts, like video editing and photoshop.
