About Me

    I grew up in La Crescenta, California, about 20 minutes north of Los Angeles.  My parents and my younger sister still live there, so I enjoy going back to visit as often as possible.  My favorite memories of high school are of running on the Cross-Country and Track teams.  I still like to run when I can, and would love to train for a marathon someday.  I married my husband, Travis, on April 14, 2007.  I only found out afterwards that April 14th is also the date the Titanic sank and the date Abraham Lincoln was shot.  Luckily it turned out to be better luck for us!  Travis and I love to go dancing and to watch movies together, especially Westerns.  Travis and I also love the outdoors and enjoy hiking with our 4 year old beagle-lab mix, Snoop.  Since moving away from California, I have lived in Florida (where I often saw alligators near my apartment), Nevada (where I worked in a Las Vegas casino), and Texas (where I visited the Alamo), and I now live in Plattsburgh, New York.
