And the guy that told him a lot of funny stories.

That second guy wrote this part!

Jebediah Stevenson is the fake name of a Brooklyn, NY native, who really likes the Mets. He likes the Mets so much that his only discernible character trait is his omnipresent Mets hat. He met Wesley Luthor in college and immediately learned that while, sure, his life was interesting, and strange, and funny at times, it could hardly compare to the antics that certain others manage to get in to. Jedbediah is the primary creative force behind the comics, writing them and drawing them, although he acknowledges that without Luthor, he would, at best, have one third of the material, and at worst, have never come up with a title, certainly not one as good as Nothing, Israel. He can be reached at jebediahstevenson@nothingisrael.com.

Wesley Luthor is the fake name of a person born in Tennessee, but who identifies as a native of the “greater Albany area.” This isn’t an extension of his plea for anonymity, but rather an extension of his desire not to explain things. To proclaim this desire is bizarre, however, as he is writing these biographies, and will very likely go on to explain far more than is necessary as he writes this. While he purports that all of the stories are entirely true, at least in the form he told Jebediah, he acknowledges that certain creative liberties have been taken since their initial telling in order to make the stories funnier, more relatable, or in some cases, more realistic. He acknowledges also that some people may read that and question “wait…these are the more realistic versions of some of these stories?” He responds to this question by telling you that he was in the circus, and is a trained trapeze performer. That is a reality of his life. A thing he did. A professional clown taught him how to do tricks on a trapeze bar. Now, of course, the more realistic version of these events is that they didn’t happen. But they completely, one hundred percent did. He once found his teacher on a web site called circopedia. There is a web site called circopedia, and his former teacher has a page there. So yes. The versions presented here are more realistic. He invented the name Nothing, Israel originally as the name for his fictional production company, with the goal of making a pretty girl laugh. Jebediah then informed him he was going to make a web comic about him, so he allowed the name to be used, so long as he somehow managed to profit despite not doing any actual work. Aside from writing his terrible information section. He can be reached at wesleyluthor@nothingisrael.com.
