I am proud that I am apart of the SUNY system. SUNY Plattsburgh has many oppertunites for me. I have taken classes that have taught me valuable skills. These classes have given me real life skill that I can use in my future endeavors.
Going to Hauppauge High School helped prepare me for college and helped me make lasting connections.
From 2011 to 2014 I organized and ran blood drives twice a year through the New York Blood Center . I would contact previous donors and recruit new donors to ask them to donate blood. I would find a location for the drive that would be able to hold a blood drive. I also recruited and oversaw volunteers that assisted with greeting and directing donors the day of the drive.
Hike for life is a hike run by the New York Blood Center that raises proceeds for medical and scientific research. As a volunteer I signed in hikers and directed them towards the starting line. After the hike there is food for the hikers that I helped serve.
