Born on April 3rd 1987, Carissa J. Franks grew up in a small island called St.Kitts. Her hobbies include,photography, swimming, hiking, cooking, writing short stories and drawing.

This aspiring Public Relations Specialist is currently a Junior at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh majoring in Public Relations and Advertising.

She first started working at an off-shore betting agency called Racing and Gaming. She increased their profits by being courteous to the clients who called in by phone to make bets. At two other Companies, Social Security and Contruction Technologies, she completed hundreds of data entry materials in half of the time expected for that task. So they were able to contact their clients much earlier than anticipated.

She is a very focused individual who has an eye for details and is very organized. These skills were developed at her previous employments. Her creative and organizational skills resulted in the creation and completion of a staff manual at Racing and Gaming that ensured all members of staff knew what was expected of them. This ensured the smooth running of the office.

Office meetings came alive with her creative banners and brochures and snacks were always on time for the coffee breaks at these meetings.Here at Plattsburgh she is learning how to be more confident and is learning more about the art of communication and developing skills and that she needs to be successful at any Public Relations job.
