Assignments Beyond the Classroom:

 Twelfth Grade Civics and Government: 

  • For Monday:  transcribe and summarize the interviews you have done for your Carbon Footprint project.  If you haven’t yet completed your interviews, please see me or email me.

Eleventh Grade American History AP:

  • ·        By Friday:  your report on Civil War book of your choosing is due. 

  •       Follow the guidelines in the class handout.  There is also a section

  •       in the guidelines to help you prepare your oral report.   If there are

  •       any questions, please discuss with me in class or email me.

 

 

 Eleventh Grade American History:

·        By Thursday: bring in at least two copies of primary source documents about Abolitionists and the Underground Railroad, using the websites and source material handed out in class.  Try to find examples in Clinton and Essex Counties so we can organize a well researched field trip.   

 

 Eighth Grade American History:  

  •  By Friday:  Write your Progressive Era newspaper article with the topic and byline you chose in your small group and be prepared to incorporate it in your group’s newspaper page.
