I am a graduate of Plattsburgh State University with a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts & Sciences.  I am in the process of obtaining my Master’s Degree in Education from Plattsburgh State University where I am in the MST Program.  I am working towards completing my studies in Adolescent Education 7-12 in the field of Social Studies.  I am very much looking forward to the opportunity of working with you inside the classroom, while learning from your excellent guidance.  Teaching has always been a profession that has excited me and been a great passion of mine.  I believe that learning under experienced professional teachers is the best way to become one myself. 

I have always enjoyed the opportunity of working with students of all ages, while assisting them with their studies.  I do not have much experience working inside a formal classroom setting, however it is something that I am in the process of addressing.  I am working towards obtaining more experience whenever the opportunity presents itself so I can become familiar with the teacher viewpoint.  Beginning in the Spring of 2008, I will be taking a Substitute Teaching Workshop Seminar where I am seeking to become a Plattsburgh State University certified Substitute Teacher.  Also, I am volunteering my time and services to the Northern Adirondack School District to serve as a mentor as part of the College For Every Student Program (CFES).  While in the CFES mentoring program at NAC I will serve as a role model for young people in the area who strive to be college graduates.  I have become the Coordinator of the Substitute Teaching Workshop Seminar and the College For Every Student Program, working alongside Connie Marsh to ensure the programs can grow and prosper for years to come.
