Resources for Parents:
1. Family Education

This is a great website for parents!!! This website not only provides parents with education ideas, but it also provides them with help and advice for a variety of different kinds of problems they can encounter while raising a child. A parent could even click on the ‘age range’ tab that their child falls under. This site is very detailed.
2. LD Online
This website is a great website for a parent who has a child with a disability. There is a ‘features’ link that tells all about learning disabilities and how they are identified. There is also a ‘interact’ link that enables a parent to communicate with professionals or other parents about their problems. Finally, there is a ‘service’ link that informs parents of different services that could be of help to them.
3. EDU Place
Here’s an extraordinary website for parents to look for information on a specific topic that their child is working on. It can help solve questions if the parent can’t help the student with their homework. It contains links for social studies, math, science, and English for all grade levels. There are also games and activities on this website.
4. For Bilingual Parents

On this website, parents from bilingual homes can research education or other issues regarding their child in their language. This website contains a lot of information a parent could use. This website is a lot like the first website listed under “Resources for Parents”, but it’s for bilingual parents.
5. Wrights Law
This is a great website for parents to look at concerning the laws of education. It particularly focuses on the laws for special education, involving IDEA 2004 and the No Child Left Behind Act.

1. Kids Health

Here’s an excellent websites for students on how to stay in shape and be a healthy person. The homepage contains links for a number of different health questions students might have. The questions range from questions young students would have, to questions high school or even college students may have.
2. ED Helper
This website is an easy website for kids to navigate through. When the homepage comes up, all the different subjects are listed in the center. They can easy find whatever topic they are looking for. This is an awesome website for on-line tutoring!!!!
3. Education By Design

This is a great website for kids who are looking for education activities. Everything a child will learn in school has an activity on this website just about. It also has links on the left hand side for special needs software!!!!
4. Awesome Library
http://www.awesomelibrary.org/student.html
This is the easiest online library a K-12 student will ever find. It has all the major subjects. Below the major subjects are fun links for K-12 students. Students would find this website very helpful because it’s extremely easy to navigate through.
5. Earth Easy
http://eartheasy.com/article_enviro_sites_kids.htm
Here’s a great website for students to learn about their environment. Students can find the answers to their environment questions. There are also games and activities involving the environment on this website.
