Soccer Shootout

This site lets students practice their knowledge of adding and subtracting fractions with like and unlike denominators while playing the game of soccer. They score goals and save goals from the opposite team by answering fraction problems. If they happen to answer incorrectly, the site also provides them with explanations on how to solve the particular problem they got wrong. This site enhances the knowledge learned in the lesson plan on adding and subtracting fractions.

This site greatly enhances the lesson on writing a descriptive short story. It allows students to view writing from other students as well as a chance to publish their own writing. The site also provides useful workshops/tips on writing that can be useful for students to use when writing their own stories.
