        My name is Robin Belanger.  Thanks for taking the time to visit my website.  I grew up in a small town in Maine, not far from the coast, so I’ll always have a special place in my heart for the ocean.  Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to live in several different states, from New England to the Deep South.  New York has been home since 1999 and I am very happy here. 
        I have three adult children and at different times, there have been three of us in college at the same time, each attending a different college.  We had a great time talking about the books we were reading and classes we were taking.  Obviously, education is important to our family. 
        In our spare time, my husband and I love to bicycle, hike, and canoe.  Our little dog, Phin, enjoys canoeing with us.  He wears his yellow life jacket in case of mishaps.  Fortunately, he’s never had to use it. 
        As an Elementary/Special Education major, I look forward to being out in the field and putting my education to use.  I am a strong believer in lifelong learning, so will probably continue to take classes well beyond receiving my degree.
