1) Teacher Tube

• Teacher tube is a resource that all teachers are able to use.  It will provide educational videos that will go alone with the lessons. 

2) National Geographic for Kids!

• National geographic is a great resource for students and teachers.  It provides games, activities and photos for the students.  It will aide in the lessons and provide more visuals for the students.

3) PBS

• PBS is a great source for videos about different topics.  You can view different topics from the past and of today.  Also there are different sections for the students, parents and teachers.  It is a great way to get everyone involved

4) Scholastic

• From this website, you are able to view different subjects such as math, science, social studies, and language arts.  There are different activities and a few of them are audio which can help benefit some students. 

5) Teacher.net Gazette

• The Wong’s are great authors of a book about effective teachers.  The book provides different strategies and techniques that are also offered on the website.  It is a great source for teachers to get helpful tips on becoming an effective teacher.

6) NyeLabs

• Bill Nye is a great scientist that makes learning science fun.  His videos are entertaining but get the point across.  This website goes along with the videos and provides teachers with different activities for students.   

7) Fun School

• This is another example of a website that involves parents, teachers and students.  It has a variety of different activities students are able to engage in to help increase their learning.

 8) Theme links

• Themelinks.com provides teachers with different themes they can do lessons on.  For instance, there is a theme unit on Fall.  It is a great resource to help teachers create ideas that will interest students.

9) Free printable

• This source has different worksheets and activities that teachers are able to use in their lessons. 

10) Time for Kids

• This website is great.  It has different resources for different grades.  As teachers we can use this website and also refer to the different magazines that are put out.  There are different worksheets and quizzes that teachers can use.  Parents also have access to this website which can provide the students will additional help.
