When i first graduated high school in 2003 i went to Plattsburgh State College to major in music. At the time i was a drummer in a band called Monday Mourning. After the first semester of college i decided to take some time off to tour and play music in as many places as i could. After a year and a half break i went to Clinton Community college and I graduated from Clinton Community College with an associate's degree in Humanities and social sciences. I took another semester off and moved to Boston MA with another band called Bella King. I was working in a studio called Q Division that had produce many top name bands including Jimmy Eat World and Pink. I gained the most knowledge of audio production at this studio.
When i returned to Plattsburgh state i wasn't quite sure of the department i would want to get into so i decided to be in the television production department. Although i later changed to audio production, i learned a great quantity of valuable information in the television production program. While i was in this department, i auditioned and got a part on a television show called BLTV. We did about 12 episodes and by the end i had very much camera experience. I was also on a few other shows such as Smarty Pants as a guest star.
When i transferred over to the audio department i discovered that i had finally chosen the right major. During my time here i had a job at the Plattsburgh ARC and i was able to gain enough audio recording equipment to have a legit studio. Here i produced a lot of solo music in which i separately recorded all drums, guitar, bass, piano, and vocals and then mixed them together to sound like a full band. I have since recorded some local musicians, and i'm in the process of getting myself out there to record for companies and anyone else who would to be heard. I'm very pleased with my accomplishments so far and i feel that the future holds a lot of learning and more experience in the audio production field.
