Here is a web quest on rocks. You will be using digital cameras to take pictures of different rocks and then compare them to other rocks on these websites. With this information, you will be able to identify these rocks. Have fun with this!!
Step 1
First make sure your camera has a disk inside of it. You need to turn on you cameras and take 3 or 4 pictures of the two rocks that you have.
Step 2
Put the photos on
Step 3
Observe the photos carefully. Become familiar with what they look like.
Step 4
Go through the websites I provided you and try to identify the two different rocks you have pictures of.
Step 5
Copy the 4 questions below here and paste them in Microsoft Word. From there I would like you to answer these questions together in your group with all of your names at the top of the page.
