I am
a graduate student at Plattsburgh State
University. Currently, I am in the MST Early Childhood
Education Program at Plattsburgh. This
is my second semester of the MST program. I plan to graduate in Spring
of 2009. I
received my Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Development
and Family
Relations in May 2007. Prior to entering Plattsburgh
State University I attended Clinton CommunityCollege for two years.
I
am 27 years old and was born and raised in Champlain, NY. I
grew
up on a family ran dairy farm. My family farmed for 25 years;
my entire life. Growing up
on a dairy farm was an amazing learning
experience and my family is very close because of it.
As
A child I can remember being asked what I wanted to be when I grew up.
My response was a teacher. I love children and
seeing the
excitement to learn in
their eyes. Especially when
the students understand what they are learning and can incorporate it
in their lives.
I
am very excited to be a part of the
MST program and cannot wait to enter the teaching field and have my own
classroom.
