Managing My Time, To Work Better for You

Growing up in a small town in Vermont, I fell in love with the outdoors. Spending countless hours kayaking, hiking and snowboarding, shaping who I am today. Although I loved growing up there, I hope to one day move somewhere where I can pursue a career in public relations.

As a senior Public Relations major at SUNY Plattsburgh, I have had many opportunities and successes. My experience has been nothing shy of extraordinary. As a member of the Plattsburgh State Women’s soccer team for four years, and traveling most weekend during the fall semesters, I learned valuable time management and people skills. Being a collegiate athlete, full-time student and interning, I was able to manage completing vital tasking in a timely manner.

With my internship with United States Citizenship and Immigrations Services, I have had the opportunity to practice some of these skills. The opportunity of working with the federal government has allowed me to have real-world experience interacting with people and managing my time between work, school and soccer.
