The Mailman decides to answer some of the most common questions about Santa Claus, he tells us about a small baby named Kris who was left on the doorstep of the Kringle family (toymakers). When Kris grew up, he wanted to deliver toys to the children of Somber town. But mean old Mr. Burgermeister Meisterburger (now that’s a mouthful) who happens to be the man who runs the town, absolutely refuses to have presents brought into his little town. Mr. Burgermeister Meisterburger is so mean, that he goes as far as making a law that bans toys completely from somber town, and anyone found with toys, or passing them out, will be put into jail. To make things worse, there's an evil wizard named Winter who lives between the Kringle’s home and Somber town, but Kris melts Winter's heart, as well as the beautiful schoolteacher's, somehow manages to miraculously soften Mr. Burgermeister Meisterburger heart with the gift of a yo-yo, all while delivering his toys on time for Christmas. |
